A New GreenMarket for the Downtown Folks - Fulton Stall Market

Fulton Stall MarketDowntown financial district and battery park residents are cheering! Fulton Stall Market, formerly known as the Fulton Fish Market opens this Friday, May 22!

The new Fulton Stall Market will be an outdoor food market providing fresh local produce and artisan goods

- think of the Union Square Green Market transplanted downtown - but Nicer and Newer!

The market will feature fresh fruits and veggies from the Hudson Valley, Long Island and New Jersey in addition to fresh fish, seafood, organic breads, cheeses and coffees.

Everything is locally grown or sourced, aside from a few specialty goods.

A sample of the purveyors include:
Bread Alone - European-style, organic breads and handcrafted pastries from the Hudson Valley
Breezy Hill Orchard & Knoll Krest Farm - pears, apples, cider, eggs, fresh pasta and baked goods from Dutchess County, NY.
Cupcake Express
Flora Perfecta - locally grown roses, lilies and stock flowers from their greenhouses near New Paltz, New York.
Hoboken Farms - creamy mozzarella, homemade ravioli, and gourmet entrees from farm fresh ingredients.
Il Brigante - a Seaport local, offers a range of imported Italian specialties including
unique sauces, pastas, vinegars and homemade dishes
New York Winestand - features a rotating roster of winegrowers from Long Island, the Finger Lakes, the Hudson River Valley and other regions plus chef demonstrations pairing local food with wine.
Sang Lee Farms- grows unique baby greens, heirloom tomatoes, Asian-inspired mesclun mixes plus sauces, chutneys, and soups, all from their certified organic farm in Peconic, New York.
Shore Catch - fresh, local catch from Long Beach Island, New Jersey.
Stony Hill Farm Market - offers Garden State fruits, vegetables, plants, and baked goods from their family-owned and operated farm in Chester, New Jersey.
Valley Shepherd Creamery-more than 20 varieties of artisan cheese and yogurt from the milk of over 500 sheep at their Long Valley, New Jersey dairy farm.
