Be careful about the apples at the Greenmarket!

Ok I guess this is really obvious - but don't ever by the $1 bags of apples at the Union Square Greenmarket.

Unfortunately I don't know exactly which vendor I bought from this morning - but they were all bad!!

All mushy and brown on the inside - but with a deceptively nice red and rosy exterior.

All I know is the bag said Mountain Top - Macintosh Apples.  STAY AWAY.

Bad bad bad.  Stick with Red Jacket.
