Contest on Eater to participate at NYWFF's SWEET event

Here's your chance to compete against the top in the business of confectionery!

The event at the top of the list for any aspiring pastry chefs and dessert obsessives is SWEET, a late night party where pastry mavens from restaurants including Daniel, Locanda Verde, Adour, and Jean Georges show off what they're capable of. It's not a competition, there's no prize money, but for readers looking for the chance to pit their best confections against the masters, we're giving away a spot at the event. So to all you amateur bakers, small time pastry chefs, and serial competitors: bring a small sample of what you can do to Eater HQ (36 Cooper Sq., 5th Floor) sometime between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on August 7, and we'll be the judge.* Treats accompanied by stories are always welcome. The runner up will win tickets to the event.
