NY Botanical Garden - The Edible Garden

tomatoesFrom June 27th - September 13th the NY Botanical Garden has a special exhibition called the Edible Garden demonstrating how to grow your own vegetables and plants - following the farm to table mentality that is taking over the country.

If you have some outdoor space - I know it's not easy to come by - but try to grow your own herbs and veggies!  That's my plan for the summer.

Some of the exhibitions include:
Martha Stewart Edible GardenMartha Stewart’s Culinary Herb Garden

Martha Stewart has personally redesigned the Botanical Garden’s historic Nancy Bryan Luce Herb Garden using over 50 types of culinary herbs. Cardoon, basil, thyme, and lavender create repeating patterns of colors and textures, bordered by pots of parsley, rosemary, and oregano.
