I traveled from the Bronx to Brooklyn yesterday to try the lobster rolls. They were definitely worth the the trip. I just can't decide whether I prefer the traditional or Connecticut style. These are the best Lobster Rolls I've ever had. They are meaty (seriously large pieces of lobster not chooped up pieces), just the right amount of mayo & they don't use way too much celery just to fill up the roll.

I definitely will go back there soon!!

BTW, I also tried the Jonah crab claws...very tasty!

Where did you pay $29 for a lobster roll dare I ask? Definitely go to the flea for the Red Hook Lobster Pound rolls - they are simply amazing and soooo worth it. :)

Looks sooo much better than lobster rolls served at most (if not all) restaurants in the city, and less than half the price. I'm almost embarrassed to say that my boyfriend and I just paid $29 for a lobster roll at a certain Brooklyn seafood joint.

Thanks for the great post. I feel like an actress that wakes up to read reviews, only I want to read the blogs and comments. Just so you know, we are working on adding another person and maybe another grill so the line moves much more quickly. I am truly sorry about the line. We were working as fast as we could!

Hi there - the lobster rolls are $13. Worth every penny if you ask me - definitely the most generous chunks of lobster compared to other places in the city :)

They are there every Sunday at the flea market in Dumbo near the Brooklyn Bridge.
